Below are questions my Caulfield Counselling clients ask. If you have more questions or would like to book the free 20 min introductory session, email me here.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes — I offer a free 20-minute phone call so you can ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and decide whether I’m the right fit for you. It’s a no-pressure way to start, and I’ll guide you through what to expect if you choose to begin counselling. Book your free consultation here.

What can I expect from my first counselling session?

Your first session is a gentle starting point. We’ll take time to get to know each other, talk about what’s brought you here, and explore what you’d like to get out of counselling. There’s no pressure — just space to speak freely and be truly heard. You can ask questions, go at your own pace, and decide what feels most comfortable for you.

Can counselling help with anxiety, stress, or burnout?

Absolutely. These are some of the most common (and most overwhelming) challenges many people face, especially during busy or changing seasons of life. Counselling sessions offer supportive, down-to-earth strategies to help you feel more in control, calm, and confident — one step at a time.

What kinds of life changes do you help with?

I specialise in supporting women through times of transition — whether it’s a career shift, parenting challenges, relationship changes, menopause, or finding yourself at a personal crossroads. Together, we’ll explore what matters most to you and create a clear path forward that feels grounded, empowering, and aligned with your values

How do I know if counselling is right for me?

If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or just unsure of your next step — counselling can help. You don’t need a diagnosis or a crisis to seek support. Therapy is simply a space for reflection, clarity, and growth. If you’re curious, that’s already a great sign that you’re ready to begin

What draws you to supporting women in counselling?

Supporting women through life’s changes is at the heart of my counselling practice. I’m passionate about helping women feel seen, supported, and empowered — whether they’re navigating motherhood, career transitions, relationships, menopause, or identity shifts. I believe every woman deserves space to reflect, reconnect with herself, and move forward with confidence and clarity.

Do you work with men as well?

Yes, I do. While my passion is supporting women, I also work with men who are facing challenges like workplace stress, burnout, relationship struggles, or navigating major life changes. I understand that men often experience pressure to “hold it together,” so my counselling provides a safe, non-judgmental space to explore emotions, build resilience, and find balance.

What are the fees for a counselling session?

Fees for online or in person counselling sessions are $130. All sessions are 50 minutes. Concession rates are available for Students, Health Care Card Holder, please email me for details.
